I’m Rebecca and I live in a 1960s ranch house in Texas with my husband Richard. I feel like I have an extra-nice life, more by design than by chance. I’m using this weblog to talk about how I do it, since so many people ask. (In my mind.)
Though I live in Texas, I am probably not what you’d expect. I am really into

- Minimalism
- English gardens
However, there are some things I do that are highly normal Texan activities, such as:
- Throwing elaborate parties
- Creating a hospitable home
- Incorporating chipotle peppers into everything
